Celebration is Bratsa Bonifacho’s 25th series of works, and is an exciting continuation of themes that he’s explored in his practice over the past decade. The artist’s longtime interest in computer viruses, fragmented language and sharp geometric forms remains present throughout, and in Celebration we see a focus on neatly stacked gridded compositions in bold colour. Bonifacho completed his Celebration series in the incredibly short span of three months in the summer of 2021. The exhibition has been displayed in Vancouver and Washington, and will be displayed at Masters Gallery from April 28 – May 6, 2022.
