Artist talk by David Veres at 2:30 PM following a discussion with Ryan Green on Tom Thomson

David Veres has been interested in capturing the Canadian landscape for decades, and continually searches for new forms of expression in his work. Over the last number of years, Veres has created a series of cast acrylic works that seek to process the Canadian landscape in new ways. The latest body of work in his Modern Canadian Landscapes series, Trees, presents a new suite of works that reflect Veres’ love of the beauty and splendour offered by the land.
