I have always loved the luscious surfaces and the jewelled backgrounds of Russian icons. Why not Mona as a Russian Icon? It allowed me to do the gilded, corrugated cardboard...
I have always loved the luscious surfaces and the jewelled backgrounds of Russian icons. Why not Mona as a Russian Icon? It allowed me to do the gilded, corrugated cardboard surrounds, the colourful halo, the rich surfaces. This Mona was very much fun to do.
