This sensitive sketch is “one-of-a-kind”. A Gagnon panel-sized jewel painted by the artist purely for her own pleasure. Carlyle was honoured with a retrospective exhibition of her work at the Art Gallery of Hamilton and the McMichael Canadian Art Collection in the Fall of 2004. A book by Joan Murray accompanied the long overdue exhibition.
